Announcing experimental support for ACME TLS CAs
SpookyKipper • Mar 2nd, 2025 • 1 minute read

As part of a previous announcement of GoGetSSL deprecating Free Certificates, Spookhost has taken action and now supports Let's Encrypt and ZeroSSL as TLS Certificate Authorities on our Client Portal!

Effective immediately, Spookhost users can now access the Spookhost Client Portal to create a new SSL Certificate with the two CAs. By default, ZeroSSL will be used. However, users can choose to switch to Let's Encrypt in "Advanced Options." Obtaining GoGetSSL Certificates are now unavailable with Spookhost.

Please note that this is an experimental release, issues may occur. Features such as CertAuto and ECDSA certificates are not yet available, but will be implemented at a later time.
Update: ECC Certificates are now available!

Happy Hosting and thank you for your continuous support.
